Dear Sir:
Reorganization of Portland General Electric Company portland General Electric (PGE) Company's Nuclear Division is being reorgan-ized to enable more effective utilization of company resources for operating
-the Trojan Nuclear Plant. The change includes creation of a new group, Plant Support, reporting directly to the Vice President, Nuclear Division. As reorganized, the Material Services Department and the Training Branch, which previously reported to the Trojan Nuclear Plant General Manager, will now report to the newly-created position of Plant Support General Manager. Other functions reporting to this position will be Administrative Services, and Planning and Control. The new Company Organization for Nuclear Power Operation and the Facility' Organization are shown in the attached figures.
Also attached is License Change Application (LCA) 182 requesting an amendment to License NPF-1.
This amendment will incorporate the required changes'.to Trojan Technical Specifications as a result of the organizational changes related to the Training Branch. PGE has initiated the process for revising other affected licensing documents as appropriate, including Chapter 13 of the

Trojan Final Safety Analysis Report.
The organizational changes discussed above will be effective July 1, 1989 with the exception of the changes related to the Training Branch reporting responsibilities. The latter will be implemented upon issuance of the license amendment by the NRC.
