" Origin Swap" Reporting .90cedures In order to effect a proper " origin swap," the following procedures must be l followed: l

1. Each party shall prepare a Nuclear Material Trar.sactio,n Report.

DOE /NAC 741, as an in-place transaction (showing both ' shipper and  :

re,ceiver sideg) for its own RIS.  :

2. The " Nature of Transaction" field should be left blank.
3. The 741 for each party must contain the RIS of the other party in both -

the " Shipped For Account Of" and " Shipped to Account Of" fields .- l l

4. On each 741 prepared, the " Country Control Number" in the shipper'_s

field must be different frcm the " Country Control Number" in the )

receiver's field. - .,

5. Both parties must complete the " origin swap" 741's within the same  ;

process month.

6. The quantities of material for both parties must be the same.

7. *.The ". Transportation Profile" will not apply due to the in-place nature cf the transaction.
8. If one of the parties is fo' reign, the domestic party is responsible for
