The purpose of this modification is to provide funding, revise the option periods for line items 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and revi se the contract period of performance. Accordingly, the contract is modified as follows:

"This contract shall commence on the effective date reflected in block 3 of the SF 26 and will expire on December 14, 1989.
The duration of the contract will be extended upon NRC's exercise of each option."
