Breathina Air Radiation Monitor System E
The Fermi 2 Updated Final Safety Analysis Report ~(UFSAR) Section 11.4.3.8.2.15, Table 11.4-1, Figure 11.4-2 and Figure 11'.4-5 provide descriptions of the proposed breathing' air radiation monitor system at'
- Fermi 2.
The UFSAR also states that the monitor is installed and will be functional prior to the first refueling.
- This system was planned to be used if station air was to be used for breathing air purposes. However, portable air packs are provided at Fermi 2 for breathing air purposes and we do not intend to use station air as breathing air. Hence, it is no longer necessary to install the subject radiation monitor system at Fermi 2.
Therefore, the breathing air radiation monitor system will not be installed at Fermi 2 and the system will be deleted from the UFSAR.
The corresponding section, table, and figures of the Fermi ~ 2 UFSAR will be' revised in the next update to reflect deletion of the system.
