The following is provided for your information.

Reference (a) forwards information pertaining to Region 1 Incident Response Center data handling capabilities.

In response to our review and evaluation of these capabilities, Baltimore Gas 6 Electric Company (BG&E) has installed two facsimile machines (Pitney Bowes, Model 7001). -These machines have been added to the Emergency Response Plan to provide dedicated hard copy transmission capability to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). : One of the units is located in the Technical Support Center and the other in the Emergency Operations Facility. Both are programmed with telephone numbers for Response Center facsimile machines. Our emergency responders can use the machines to' supplement verbal communications of.the event status. Additionally, the machines will be available for use by the NRC Incident Response Team.
