NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL 0F AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE l
The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted a request by Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company to withdraw its January 16, 1984 application for an amendment to Facility Operating License No. DPR-36 issued 3
to the licensee for operation of the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Station located in Lincoln County, Maine.
Notice of Consideration of Issuance of this amendment was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on March 22,1984(49FR10737).
The purpose of the licensee's amendment request was to revise the Technical Spes:ifications (TS) pertaining to 10CFR50 Appendix R requirements.
Subsequently the licensee informed the staff that the amendment is no longer requested. Thus, the amendment application is considered to be withdrawn by the licensee.
