Saxton Nuclear Facility Operating License No. OPR-4 Docket No. 50-146 Response to Inspection Report No. 50-146/88-02 In response to the request contained in the subject inspection report and pursuant to the December 13, 1988 telephone conference call between members of your staff and my staff, this letter confirms that the Saxton Nuclear Experimental Corporation (SNEC) will conduct a radiological survey of the soil outside of the SNEC and Pennsylvania Electric Company (PENELEC) fences. The puroose of this survey will be to identify potential areas of elevated contamination. Details of this proposed survey, which is currently planned for late spring /early summer 1989, will be presented to you and other members of the commission staff at the Region I Offices of NRC.
