SINET DATA DICTIONARY N
Enclosed is the official version of the SINET Data Dictionary.
This dictionary has three ma.jor purposes:
(1) to document the structure and current content of the SINET databases, (2) to serve as a reference tool for users of the database, and (3) to document standardized NRC data terminology so as to enhance communication both between database users and developers, and among the NRC staff as a whole.
This dictionary documents the data in the operational version of.SINET as of August 1,1988, which consists of the entities in the Event and Facility logical da'; abases thct are underlined in Table 1.1 of the Introduction-of. the Dictionary. The entities Event, License, Licensee, Vendor, Vendor Role, Employee, and Er:plcyee Role have been pcrtially implemented and are also available for use. As new logical databa:es, entities, and data elements are implemented in SINET, they will be adried to the Data Dictionary.
Please discard all previous versions and maintain this one, which wi?1 be periodically updated with replacement pages.
