The University of Michigan hereby. submits modifications.to the Ford Nuclear Reactor Emergency Plan.
A' complete copy of the revised-Emergency. Plan is enclosed.
Previously submitted: Plans and' revisions can be discarded.
1 TheLchanges are-Revision 5 to the Plan.- We have indicated the date of the revision on~the title page, and every proposed change-

under revision 5 is denoted ty a number 5 in the right margin adjacent tofthe change.. Previously approved revisions 1 through'4 are: dated and similarly denoted.
The majority of the changes are non-substantive and. fall under 10CFR50.54(Q).
They involve building, name, and telephone number changes.
The more substantive changes are indicated below.

The indefinite nature of theingreements was suggested by the departments themselves..

Nuclear Regulatory Commission April 20, 1989 The facility health physicist and the Director, Radiation Control Service, have been removed from the Emergency Staff.
The Emergency Staff is notified in the event of an emergency that involves the facility.
The three members listed are the only management and supervisory level individuals who are knowledgeable enough to be able to handle an emergency involving the reactor and reactor systems.
One of the three individuals listed is always on 24-hour call as the dt.t.y on-c all supervisor.
