Mr. Albert Mueller's June 6,1989, response to my May 1,1989 letter to you

addressed nonconforming fasteners which the Hardware Specialty company (HSC) supplied to Louisiana Power and Light (LP&L). Mr. Mueller's May 30, 1989, letter to LP&L advises LP&L of the conditions reportable under 10 CFR Part 21.
In light of the nonconforming fasteners you supplied to LP&L, please advise us j
of what actions you have taken to determine whether nonconforming material has been supplied by HSC to other nuclear utilities or other commercial nuclear vendors.
If other commercial nuclear customers are identified, these other customers should be advised by letters similar to the HSC correspondence with LP&L. Your response to this request should be provided to me within 30 days of your receipt of this letter.
