DOCKET NO. 50-331 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL 0F APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Connission) has granted the' request of Iowa Electric Light and Power Company,' Central IowaPowerCooperative,andCornBeltPowerCooperative(thelicensec) to withdraw a portion of its October 14, 1986 application for an amendment to facility Operating License No. DPR-49 for the Duane Arnold Energy Center located in Linn County, Iowa.
The proposed amendment would have revised the Technical Specifications to allow qualified personnel to screen proposed procedure changes on behalf of the plant Operations Cosmittee.
The Consission has previously issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on February 26, 1987(52FR5857). However, by letter dated March 25, 1987, the licensee withdrew a portion of the proposed change.
