This letter is submittal dated May 23,
- 1988, which forwarded the Inservice Inspection' Report on ASME Class 1, 2 and 3 components examined during the sixth refueling outage at Beaver Valley, Unit No. 1.
We have identified an error on page 14 of that report.
In the report, we state that Reactor Vessel closure head nut number 3 was visually examined.
This component was not examined during the sixth refueling outage.
ASME Section XI requires a 100 percent examination of studs and nuts during each inspection interval.
This component was examined in
- 1980, therefore a noncompliance condition to ASME Section XI does not exist.
