Gentlemen:
With your application dated March 10, 1989,you remitted a check for
$150. This application was for Topical Report WCAP-12178-P, " Revised Thermal Design Procedure (MINI RTDP)." The enclosed revisions to 10 CFR 170 that became effective on January 30, 1989, deleted the requirement for a $150 application fee for reactor applications and topical reports. Therefore, a $150 check does not need to be remitted' with future applications.
As an administrative convenience, we are not refunding the $150 to you.
Instead we will give credit for it when an invoice is issued for review of that application. Let us know if this is not acceptable to you.
