FACILITY ACTIONS IN RESPONSE TO SUSPECTED CHEATING ON A 1986 FACILITY
ADMINISTERED REQUALIFICATION EXAMINATION 50-57/89-01 (OL)
On January 30, 1989 through February 2, 1989, the NRC administered written and
operating ' examinations- to individuals who had applied for license to operate -
the Buffalo Materials Research Center Reactor. During this time, a _ review was
. also conducted of the Licensed Operator Requalification Program,'and facility
actions.following-the potential cheating on a facility administered requal-
ificationi. test in 1986. Details of the examinations and the requalification
program review are described in the NRC Region 1 report which is enclosed with
this 1etter.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
.this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
