Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Supplement No. 2 to Technical Specification Change Request No. 190 Removal of Cycle-Specific Parameter Limits This letter supplements. GPUN letters C311-89-2039, dated April 28, 1989, and C311-89-2054, dated May 18, 1989, which transmitted Technical Specification Change Request No.190, Removal of Cycle-Specific Parameter Limits. The proposed amendment modifies the TMI-1 Technical Specifications to remove certain Cycle 7 cycle-specific parameter limits, in accordance with the guidance contained in NRC Generic Letter 88-16, dated October 4, 1988.
Enclosed is revised replacement page 6-19a to be inserted into the existing Technical Specifications. This page has been revised to include additional Topical Report references which contain the analytical methods used to

determine the core operating. limits. This page supercedes the corresponding i
changed page included in C311-89-2054, dated May 18, 1989.
This change to the'previously proposed revised Technical Specification page is in accordance with the guidance contained in Generic Letter 88-16, and has no effect on the safety evaluation justifying the proposed amendment (Technical Specification Change Request No. 190) or on the corresponding significant hazards consideration conclusions.
