INDT, INC., INSPECTION AND LICENSURE INFORMATION This is'in reply to your letter dated March 22, 1989, to Mr. Tom Thompson of
-the USNRC Region I office. NRC inspection activities, including the evaluation.
of information and data gained during inspections performed in February and L..
March,1989 at INDT, Inc., facilities 'in Mexico, Maine, and at the temporary job site in Woodland, Maine, are continuing.. Upon completion of our inspection activities, an NRC Inspection Report will be issued and we will send you a copy.-
In regard to yo'ur question concerning radiation exposures, the NRC holds the
. licensee responsible for making such exposure estimates and evaluations. Once
.the licensee has conducted such an evaluation, the NRC reviews it for adecuacy.
~This will be addressed in our Inspeciton Report.'
The. information you requested concerning licensure of INDT activities is provided'as an enclosure to this letter.
