Dear Sir or Madame,

Please find enclosed our application in triplicate for licence to export slightly enriched UF6. 'Ihis material will be used for the fabrication of fuel assemblies and ultimately loaded into Ohi Plant Number 3 (Region 3) owned by the Fansai Electric Power Company Inc..

'Ihe contract numbers for the uranium enriching services with the U.S. Department of.

Energy are DE-SC05-84UE/JA203.

'Ihe feed material is supplied by Australia.

'Ihe relevant e.nriched UF6 will be delivered at the U.S. D.O.E. Portsmouth Enrichment Plant in Piketon, Ohio. After being exparted to Japan, it will b converted to UO2 powder, pelletized and fabricated into fuel assemblies by Mitsubishi Nucleat Fuel, Ltd.

As to the validity of the export license, we wish to have a two year period from the date of issuance.

With regard to sampling, we request that two (2) P-10 tube samples be taken from each parent cyli3xler. 'Ihese samples should be delivered to us c/o Teledyne Isotopes for independent analysis. We also request that the Nuclear Audit & Testing Company witness the weighing and sampling.
