Office of Natural and Technological Hazards Pngrams SURTPCf: Artificial Island Exercise Report Attached is a copy of the post-exercise assessnent for the November 12, 3 1986 radiological emergency preparedness exercise at the Artificial d Island site, Hope Cree). Nuclear Generating Power Station, Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey. The report, dated May 12, 1987, was prepared by Region II of the Federal Energency Management Agency. Participating in the exercise were the State of New Jersey, Salem and Cumberland Counties and several

  • local jurisdictions in those counties. The State of Delaware also conducted a demonstration of special alerting and notification methods in conjunction with the exercise. 'Ihe results of that denonstration

) will be reported in the final report ca the Artificial Island alert and notification system.
