The NRC shares your interest in encouraging more effective 50.59 evaluations.
To that end, Mr. David C. Fischer, a section leader in the NRC's Technical Specifications Branch, will attend the June 15-16, 1989 workshop in San Jose and i
the June 22-23, 1989 workshop in Baltimore. Mr. Fischer will describe the types of changes, tests, and experiments that involve an unreviewed safety question as I
discussed in my letter to Mr. Tom Tipton of NUMARC dated May 10, 1989.
