(803)_345-4297 MAY 1989 The plant operated at approximately 100% power until May 28 when an RCS pressurizer safety valve lifted due to apparent valve failure. The plant was manually tripped and the valve reseated before pressure dropped to the safety injection setpoint.

The plant remained shutdown on May 31 for replacement of the pressurizer safety valve.
