Zion Nuclear Power Station Units 1 and 2 License Nos. DPR-39 and DPR-48 Response to Allegation RIII-A-0176 NRC Docket Nos. 50-295 and 50-304 Reference March 20, 1989 letter from C.E. Norelius to Cordell Reed (Allegation RIII-88-A-0176).
Mr. Davis:
The referenced letter transmitted the above referenced allegation to Commonwealth Edison for our investigation and response. The due date for Allegation No. RIII-88-A-0176 has been extended three times; once by a telephone conversation on May 2, 1989, between Messrs. G. Pirtle and P.J.
Laird which extended the due date to May 11, 1989; secondly, by a telephone conversation on May 12, 1989 between Hessrs. G. Pirtle, J. Hinds and G. Trzyna which extended the due date to May 19, 1989; and lastly, by a telephone conversation on May 19, 1989, between J. Hinds and G. Trzyna.
The response to the allegation is contained in the A,ttachment to this letter. The Attachment to this letter contains information that is Exempt from Public Disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a).
