Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2 Plant Operations Review Committee Composition i
Gentlemen:
This letter is to confirm our May 17, 1989 discussion with your staff regarding the composition of the Limerick Generating Station (LGS) Plant Operations Review Committee (PORC).
The present Superintendent-Plant Services is a member of PORC and is a qualified radiation protection manager in accordance with NRC Regulatory Guide (R.G.) 1.8, Revision 1-R.
If, in the future, the position of Superintendent-Plant Services is filled by an individual who does not meet the R.G. 1.8 qualifications for a radiation protection manager, we have established that the PORC Chairman is responsible for ensuring that an individual who satisfies the R.G. 1.8 qualifications for a radiation protection manager, participates in PORC activities that involve significant radiation protection issues.
