THURSDAY, MARCH 30, 1989, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, ONE WHITE FLINT NORTH, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)
The' Commission was briefed by the Georgia Power Company (appli-cant) and the staff on the applicant's readiness to receive a full power operating license for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 2.
Presentations by the licensee were made by the following:
Robert Scherer, Chairman of the Board A. William Dahlberg, President Paul Rice, Executive Vice President R. Patrick Mcdonald, Executive Vice President, Nuclear Operations C.
K. McCoy, Vice President, Nuclear George Bockhold, Vogtle Plant Manager-The Commission, with all Commissioners agreeing, authorized the staff to issue, upon finding that the licensee has satisfied all requirements, a full power operating license to Georgia Power Company for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 2.

. ~In a~ separate vote, the' Commission, with all Commissioners agreeing,..' authorized the staff, as part of its licensing process, to consider as final the finding of "no significant antitrust changes" made by the Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
