Vermont Yankee Proposed Change No. 121 - Withdrawal of Request for Separate Review of Reactor Water Cleanup System Valve 12-68
Dear Sir:
By letter, dated June 26, 1984 [ Reference (b)], Proposed Change No. 121 to the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications, " Vermont Yankee Primary Containment Leak Rate Testing Program," was submitted. Subsequently, supplemental information was provided [ References (d) and (e)], in response to the NRC staff's request of February 14, 1986 [ Reference (c)]. Further, by letter dated December 15, 1986 (Reference (f)], Vermont Yankee requested a separate review of that portion of Proposed Change No. 121 which addressed Reactor Water Cleanup System Valve 12-68.
In accordance with the current NRC initiative to resolve long standing Technical Specification license amendment requests pending with the staff; Vermont Yankee hereby withdraws the December 15, 1986 request for a separate review of the Reactor Cleanup System Valve 12-68.
It is Vermont Yankee's intention to submit an updated version of the Proposed Change No. 121 license amendment request as a supplemental submittal in the future.
