By your application and affidavit dated April 19,1989, you submitted a document entitled " North Anna Unit 1 Steam Generator Leak Event Report, Revision 0,"
dated April 26, 1989, and requested that it be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
You stated that the submitted information should be considered exempt from mandatory public disclosure for the following reasons:
1.
The information sought to be withheld from public disclosure has been held in confidence by Westinghouse; 2.
The information is of a type customarily held in confidence by Westinghouse and not customarily disclosed to the public; 3.
The information has been transmitted to the Commission in confidence; 4.
The information sought to be protected is not available in public sources; and 5.
Public disclosure of the information sought to be withheld is likely to cause substantial harm to the competitive position of Westinghouse for the following reasons:
a.
The information is marketable in many ways.
If the information were available to competitors the ability of Westinghouse to sell products and services involving this information would be diminished; b.
Use by a competitor would put Westinghouse at a competitive disadvantage; and i
c.
Unrestricted disclosure would jeopardize the position of prominence l
of Westinghouse in the world market, and thereby give a market advantage to the competition of those countries.
