. PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE AUXILIARY SHUTDOWN PANEL MONITORING INSTRUMENTATION Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Virginia Electric and Power Company requests an amendment in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications of Operating Licenses Nos. NPF 4 and NPF-7 for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2, respectively.
The proposed amendment would modify Technical Specification Section 3.3.3.5 Table 3.3-9, which addresses the Auxiliary Shutdown Panel Monitoring Instrumentation. The measurement range of the charging flow instrument will be changed from *0-150 GPM' to '0-180 GPM'. The need for an expanded g
range was identified by The Control Room Design Review. These changes, for North Anna Units 1 and 2, are provided in Attachments 1 and 2 and the Discussion and Safety Evaluation in Attachment 3.
These requests have been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and the Safety Evaluation and Control Staff, it has been determined that the proposed changes do not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10 CFR 50.59 or a significant hazards consideration as defined in 10 CFR 50.92.
