Dear Mr. Voit:

We have examined trie Final Proprietary and Non-proprietary Topical Report for the LN Composite High Integrity Container, as those reports were formulated and amended to incorporate information that was developed during the course of NRC's tech::ical review. We note, howaver, that the TRs do not incorporate NRC's Technical Evaluation Report (TER). Both the Proprietary and the Non-proprietary versions of the Final Topical Report (TR) must incorporate the f.

text of NRC's TCR.

In addition, the Non-proprietary version does not include l

Section 5.1.1., Cluster Burial, and Section 5.1.2, Isolated Burial. LN

Technologies should include those sections in the Non-proprietary TR or provide written justification for omitting them.

The reports should have the following designations to make them consistent with the NRC Topical Report Numbering System:

Proprietary report (Volumes I & II): IN-87-005,P(A)

Non-proprietary report: LN.89-001,NP(A)

Please make the t.ecessary changes to the report covers to comply with the designoted numbering system.
