The enriched uranium to be delivered in two consignments l'9'89 and 1990 is specified as follows:

260.650 kg U containing 243.186 kg U235 enriched to a caximum of 93.3 percent.

The material will be used to fabricate fuel elements for the Thorium-Hochtemperaturreaktor (THTR-300-reactor) situated in Ventrop near Hamm, owned and opersted bei HKG.

The material ist coming from the US-DOE-enrichment plant and will be sent to the fuel fabrication company, HOSEG in Germany. Before it will be converted from UF VI" U 0 into metal or U 03 8 probably 6

38 bei DOE. Subsequently it shall be converted into UNW by the company NUKEM GmbH.
