SUMMARY
OF AUGUST 20,1998, MEETING Dear Mr. Cottle This refers to the meeting conducted in the Region IV office on August 20,1998. This meeting was conducted to inform the Region IV staff of STP Nuclear Operating Company's efforts on their engineering setpoint program. The presentation included a project overview, setpoint program status and results, and setpoint calculation status. The presentation also included a review of new program tools for electrical transients, standby diesel generator transient loading, and a cable / raceway management system.
Your current assessment of your review indicated that you were currently on target with the identified schedule and anticipate full completion by the end of 1999.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
