REF: DOCKET NO. 50-312, AMENDMENT 13, PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN On November 24, 1987, the . District submitted Amendment 13 to the Physical Security Plan to the NRC for approval. Three of the proposed changes submitted under the provisions of 10CFR 50.54(P) were found to' be unacceptable 'by Region V (Ross A. Scarano to G. Carl Andognini, dated July 31, 1987, Attachment 1). Therefore, the three paragraphs have been changed back to their original wording. Attachment 2 to this cover letter contains the replacement pages for the . Security Plan Manuals assigned to Headquarters, NRC. Would you please insure that the new pages are properly posted in the manual, and the old pages are disposed of . pursuant to 10CFR 73.21. To maintain a documentation trail on Safeguards Materials, the District requests written verification of the replacement and destruction.
The two attachments to this letter have been determined to be Safeguards Information, and therefore, subject to the provisions of 10CFR 73.21.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice",
part 2, title 10, Code of Federal Regulation , documentation of our safeguards and security measures are exempt from public disclosure.
Therefore, the enclosed attachments must not be placed in the Public Document Room, and must receive limited distribution.
