TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN UPDATING OF THE MILDOS-AREA DOSE ANALYSIS CODE: REVIEW OF DRAFT USER'S GUIDE AND DRAFT i QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN l
Dear Dr. Chen:
Duane Schmidt, of my staff, has reviewed the reports, MILDOS-AREA User's Guide (Draft) and Software Quality Assurance Plan for the MILDOS-AREA Computer Program (Draft), that you submitted (letter from Chen to Schmidt dated May 15,1998). The user's guide was an early draft document, submitted so that we could come to agreement on the basic architecture of the code development. The document was considered to essentially be a work plan for the code and graphical interface development. Mr. Schmidt's comments were transmitted to you in a teleconference with you and your staff on August 3,1998. As noted in that teleconference, -
many of his comments were similar to those that you and your staff had already noted.
The quality assurance plan was a draft of the plan that you propose to use in the software development for the project. Mr. Schmidt has no comments on the draft quality assurance plan.
The draft quality assurance plan is considered acceptable and is, therefore, approved for use on the MILDOS-AREA project.
