The Churchill Hospital j

l Headington, Oxford OX3 7LJ j

Dear Dr. Hopewell:

l Thank you for your June 12, 1987, letter enncerning your work on non-unifonn i

irradiation of very small volumes of skin. Because of the limited resources s

available to any one agency, my purpose in writing to Drs. Charles and Wells was to establish coordination among agencies in various nations in conducting relevant research.

Dr. Charles has agreed to develop a comprehensive research agenda for this purpose.

It is anticipated that agencies would fund institutions within their own nations.

Thank you for your interest.

I certainly hope that you and your institute will be involved in this endeavar.

Sincerely, giginal Sigr.ed By:
