' comments on the draft NRC rule.

It was decenthnd that electronic processing was impractical.

A subsequent meeting of KRC staff was held on August 19th to discuss draft procedures for handling and tracking the status of incoming fingerprint carVs.

In a related matter, GC will pursue initiating an t

amendment to the FY87 Appropriations Act to enable NRC to receive fees from licensees, retain a portion of our costs and r% imburse the FBI for theirs.

.On. July 18, 1986, Sequoyan fuels Corporation (SFC) requested approval to perform limited cleanup activities a3 the Sficryah Fuel Facility near Gore, I

Oklahoma.

This request was based on the need to reduce liquid inventories to i

allow accfss to equipment for essential' maintenance and repair.

which had been stopped because of lack of storage space for the liquid generated during cleanup.

After discussions with Region IV, EPA and the State i
