Office of the Secretary U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Docketing and Service Division Washington, D.C. 20555 DOCKET #50-275-OLA AND #50-323-OLA As a citizen and native of. San Luis Obispo County I strongly object to the over storage of radioactive waste at Diablo Canyon. Any storage is objection-1 able, but up to five times or more storage than the spent fuel pools were ti designed to hold'is irresponsible.

The continued storage at Diable Canyon is dangerous because of the active earthquake fault, excess waste storage and the instability of the racks.

PG&E and the NRC must listen to the public and either adhere to strict safety regulations or discontinue producing nuclear wastest It is time for the government to face the devastating seriousness of nuclear i

l wastes and formulate plans for permanent storage and quit allowing plants to store wastes at their sites.

Sincerely, bb M Jean Morris c - Representative Leon Panetta Senator Alan Cranston Senator Pete Wilson e
