Dear Judge Cotter:

Please allow PGandE to rearrange the spent fuel storage racks in the spent fuel storage pool so they may store the spent fuel from Diablo Canyon Power Plant until the U.S.

Department of Energy Provides a permanent repository. I understand that PGandE must keep all spent fuel on-site until a federal repository is in place sometime in the next 15 to

~

20 years. PGandE's rearrangement plan will permit the Diablo Plant to continue operation while the federal government (Department of Energy) goes through the process of building the permanent repository.

Diablo Canyon Power Plant is an outstanding value to PGandE customers and has an exceptional safety and performance record.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerelyr 0
