We are unable to make public testimony today regarding PG and E's plans to store radioactive wastes at the plant site (Diablo Canyon), but i
we wish to make our sentiments known.

We are strongly opposed to the storage of these waster materials at the

plant. While we feel that the plant should never have been licensed, we feel that to further add to the dangers involved with a nuclear plant on an earthquake fault would be irresponsible and in direct opposition to public safety. We are not willing to accept the risks involved in the l
storage of these vastes in our community.

As an agency that is supposed to take public welfare into consideration i
in decisions pertaining to nuclear energy, we urge you to deny PG and E's l
request to store waste at Diablo Canyon.
