  • U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Docketing and Service Division Washington, D.C. 20555 RE: Docket numbers: 50-275-OLA & 50-323-OLA J l

Dear Commission Members:

{

As I will be unable to attend the public hearings on June .15 and 16, concerning the Diablo Canyon nuclear plant, 'I would like to take {

this opportunity .to express my. concern to the commission.

I hope that the commission turns down PG&E's request to store five times as much radioactive waste at the Diablo Canyon site as it was designed to hold.

How can the commission allow the licensing of more nuclear power plants, when we have no plan for the storage of the waste created by these plants?

i Another active earthquake fault was located just this past week in the area, but PG&E still wants to store waste in racks that can

  • l crash into each other. I do not appreciate the added risk this l excessive storage presents to my family and community.-

Sincerely, w& CA Tarvin C. Clark 1
