I uov Office of the Secretary U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission Docketing and Service Division Washington, D.C.
20555 RE:
Docket numbers:
50-275-OLA & 50-323-OLA
Dear Commission Members:
1 I
I am seventeen years old and have just completed my junior year at Arroyo Grande High School.
I have grave concerns regarding the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Because of my summer job I will be unable to attend the public hearings concerning the storage of additional waste at the site.
However, I wculd like to express my desire that the commission turn down PG&E's request to store five. times as much radioactive waste at the Diablo Canyon site as it was designed to hold.
I believe the commission should not allow the plant to exceed the original agreed to storage of the waste created.
It is my understanding that the government has not yet established a l
permanent storage facility, and it will proba'ly not do so as long as the commission continues to allow on site storage.
l Another active earthquake fault was just discovered in.the area.
Consequently, I feel that storing yet-more waste in racks that I
can crash into each other is not in the public interest, Sincerely, Travis Dean Clark 352 Canyon Way Arroyo Grande, CA 93420-(805) 489-1507 8709110096 870611 PDR ADOCK 05000275 T
