Dear Sirs:

3 I am a resdient of San Luis Obispo County and I am very concerned about the possibility of having a nuclear waste storage facility within 10 miles of my home.

I do not believe that it is at all safe to have the fuel rods dense packed so near a confirmed earthquake fault.

To ignore the problem is to condemn us all.

to the virtual certainty of a meltdown in this century.

I am-writing in the hopes that someone at'the NRC will pay attention to the concerns of all of us in San Luis Obispo County, instead of saying that public testimony will have no effect on the outcome of the hearings.

Why ask L to speak'if you won't listen?-

This letter is not against nuclear power, but is against the hazardous-storage of nuclear waste in an unsafe manner so near an earthquake fault.
