Attached for your information and use is our direct response to Dr. Hunt's November 9,1987 letter to us regarding his concerns about the lack of adequate public notification of the November 4,1987 meeting in Quarryvill.e, Pennsylvania to receive public comments on the;PhiladehdtietElectriccCompany, Commitment to Excellence Action Plan. While we regret that the meeting was not more widely publicized, we considered the display advertisements in the local newspapers the best means available to us. Copies of clippings of the notice as it appeared in the local papers-are enclosed for your information.
The notice also indicated our receptiveness to written comments for those not able to attend the meeting. Dr. Hunt's letter is also attached as you requested.
We hope that we have been responsive to your concerns and those of Dr. Hunt.
