SUMMARY

OF MEETING WITH GPUN RE: RADIOLOGICAL EFFLUENTS TECH SPECS (PETS)  ;

A meeting was held on August 24, 1987, in Bethesda, Mcryland with i representatives of GPUN to discuss the proposed license amendment submitted l July 28, 1987 which would revise the RETS.

S. Otto and S. Williams attended for GPUN and G. Edison and E. Branagan, Jr.,

for the NRC. The purpose of the meeting was to clarify some of the detailed changes proposed by GPUN and the reasons for them so that NRC review could proceed and to enable the staff to address the "no significant hazards" issue.

There were no proposed revisions identified which could be considered to involve significant hazards.
