NRC STAFF'S RESPONSE TO REVISED MOTION OF ATTORNEY GENERAL JAMES M. SHANNON TO AMEND THE HEARING SCHEDULE On July 27, 1987, the Massachusetts Attorney General filed a revised motion to amend the hearing schedule, request!ng that hearings be recessed at 1:00 pra on Friday, October 2,1987, to permit observance of the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur 1 The NRC Staff does not oppose the Attorney Generat's revised motion to amend the hearing schedule, and recommends that it be granted.
