Rivenbark and D.
Lasher of the NRC regarding the Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS) position on Generic Letter 83-28, Item 2.1.
As indicated in a letter from R.
L.
Mittl (PSE&G) to A.
Schwencer (NRC) dated December 17, 1984, PSE&G has implemented a vendor interface program to ensure that current information and data on safety-related equipment is made available to those personnel responsible for developing and maintaining plant instructions and procedures.
General Electric (GE),-the NSSS vendor, provides PSE&G with Service Information Letters (SILs) and Rapid Information Communication Service Information Letters (RICSILs). PSE&G is assured of receiving applicable SILs and RICSILs through a periodic review of GE SIL/RICSIL indexes thereby assuring that applicable information has been made available for HCGS review.
This process will be procedurally controlled.
