Gentlemen:
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. J. Norton
of this office on June 25, 26, July 17 and August 18, 1987. of activities
at Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2, authorized by NRC Operating License
No. NPF-72 and NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-133 and to the discussion
,
of our findings with Mr. B. Tanouye at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection concisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were
4ntified during the suLc.e of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the a mmission's ;ogulations, a copy
of this letter and the enciosed inspection report will be placed in the
NRC Public Document Room.
