i The purpose of this modification is to provide additional funds, revise the estimated level of effort for four tasks within the contract, add an additional task, and to extend the period of performance. Accordingly, this contract is modified as follows:

NRC-03-85-067 Modification No.14 Page 2 of 4 amount may be unilaterally increased from time to time by the Contracting Officer by written modification to this contract. The obligation amount shall, at no time, exceed the contract ceiling as specified in Paragraph 1 above.
When and if the amount (s) paid and i
payable to the Contractor hereunder shall equal the obiigation i
amount, the Contractor shall not be obligated to continue performance of the work unless and until the Contracting Officer shall increase the amount obligated with respect to this contract.
Any work undertaken by the Contractor in excess of the obligation l
amouht specified above is done so at the Contractor's sole risk."
This increased obligation in no way increases the total contract i
ceiling which shall remain at $2,191,432.40.

In subsection C.1.3. Work Requirements, the estimated level of effort for the following four tasks are revised:
a.
Task 4(d). The estimated level of effort is reduced oy 28 staff weeks from 30 staff weeks to 2 staff weeks.
b.
Task 5(e).
The estimated level of effort is reduced by 28 staff weeks from 40 staff weeks to 12 staff weeks.
t c.
Task 8(h).
The estimated level of effort is reduced by 46 staff weeks from 140 staff weeks to 94 staff weeks.
d.
Task 13. The estimated level of effort is reduced by 4 staff weeks from 16 staff weeks to 12 staf f weeks.

In Subsection C.1.3, Work Requirements, the following new task area is added:
" Task 14 - Review Comanche Peak Corrective Action Program (CAP).
Conduct reviews and audits of design activities associated with selected portions of the CAP.
For each design area, a review will be performed of the applicable Generic Technical Issue Report, selected Design Validation Packages, and Project Status Reports.
Reviews and audits will be conducted at the site in Glen Rose, Texas, at the Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation offices in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Houston, Texas, and New York, New York, at the Ebasco offices in New York, New York, and at the Impell offices in Walnut Creek, California.
The Contractor will summarize findings in a Technical Evaluation Report for each design area of review. ASLB hearing support will be provided for HVAC review.
Estimated Level of Effort = 106 man-weeks."
