50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SON) UNITS 1 AND 2 - NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-327/87-10 AND 50-328/87 RESPONSE T0 VIOLATION CLARIFICATION In our response to the subject violation, TVA committed that " Licensed operator training will emphasize the use of the radiological emergency plan (REP) and event classifications during simulator exercises which deal with abnormal and em igency operations...." by July 1, 1987. This statement could be interpreted to mean that'the operator simulator training emphasizing use of REP and event classifications would be completed by July 1, 1987. Our intent was to revise the program by July 1, 1987,.and implement the program during the next session of simulator training.
The program was revised as committed and will be implemented in simulator training presently scheduled for September 7-November 13, 1987.
This clarification has been discussed with the resident inspector.
