The reporting period begar with the Unit in Moda 1 et 56% pruer for rep'iacement of a section of the East Main feed Pump Emergent, Lehk Off Line.

Repaird were completed and power was increased to 90t, the administrative limit to miniinfze steam generator tube degradation, where o

it remained fdr most of February.

Power was reduced February 26, 1967 t3 56% f or vibratier testing on the East. Main Fred Pump.

Following testing, power was increased to 90%, where it remainad through the end of the H

reporting period.

l Gross Electrical Generation for the month of February was 620,320 MWH.

SUhMARY 2-1-87' LAt 1236, started increasing pcwer from 56% at 6%/ Lour.

2-1-87 At 1744, stopped increase and held pow," at 79% for chemistry.

2-1-87 At 1930, began increasing power.

2-1-87 At 2155, stabilized power at 90%.

2-26-87 At 2203, started decreasing power at 5%/ hour to perform vibration testing on the east main feed pttnp.

2-27-87 At 0152, stopped power reduction at 72% due to Rod Position Indicator P-6 indicating 11 steps from demand.

2-27-87 At 0318, continued pcwer reduction.

2-27-87 At 0403, declared Rod P-6 inoperable due to indicating greater than 12 steps from demand.

2-27-87 At 0501, Rod P-6 determined operable, RPI P-6 is inoperable.

2-28-87 At 1900, stabilized at 90% power.

The seal and shaft were replaced, the pump was successfully operability tested, and returned to service.

I&C-1 Valve WCR-966, the non-ersential service water from the instrument room ventilation unit containment isolation valves was found to operate intermittently when operated from the cor. trol room switch. The ASCO Solenoid Valve (XS0-966) was found to be functioning incorrectly.

The ASCO Solenoid Valve was rebuilt and proper operation wrified.

I&C-2 Valve WCR-965, the non-essential service water to the instrument room ventilatics unit containment isolation valve would not operate from the centrol room switch. The ASCO Solenoid (XS0-965) was found not operating properly. The Solenoid Valve was replaced and proper valve operation verified.

I&C-3 The secondary 50 foot Wind Speed Indicator in the control room failed low. The secondary sensor was found to be defective.

Tt.e sensor was replaced, a calibration performed, and the indicator was returned to service.
