e JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 2 NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS February, 1987 There were no significant power reductions during the month of Februa ry. There was one unit shutdown which occurred on February 28.

The i

reactor tripped due to a spike occurring on channel one of Over-Temperature-delta-T while channel three was in test. This resulted in the required two out of three coincidence and the reactor tripped. The unit returned to power operation on March 1.
