4 JOSEPH M. FARLEY NULM PIANT UNIT 1 NARRATIVE SUBNARY OF OPERATIONS July, 1987 There were no unit shutdcwns or significant power reductions during the month of July. 1 The following major safety-related maintenance uns performed in the month of July:
- 1. Solenoid splices arul motor-operated valve splices that were installed utilizing methods not evaluated by design for environmental qualification were re-terminated in accordance with newly approved EQ terminations on a priority basis. This is still in progress.
- 2. Control room fire damper 2782BD had new parts installed.
- 3. Several tube leaks were repaired on the IC CCW heat exchanger.
- 4. The anchor bolts of the Number 3 service water battery were reworked.
- 5. Radiation detectors R-2 and R-7 were replaced.
- 6. Miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance was performed on the diesel generators.
