Dear Mr. Bradburne:
Enclosed is a copy of a letter from a constituent seeking information on the status of spent fuel storage capability at the pilgrim nuclear power plant.
I am enclosing a copy of an NRC report -- referenced in her letter -- which indicates that authorized capacity would be filled in 1990.
She has advised me that an NRC official indicated to local residents that the correct date should be 2010.
I would appreciate clarification of this discrepancy, and an explanation of the precise status of spent fuel sorage capacity at Pilgrim.
